My mom’s stir-fries were a family staple growing up.   • 3-4 lb of lamb breast meat
  • ½ cups of oil
  • 1 ½ tsp of salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of cumin and cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of paprika and chili flakes
  • ½ cups of vinegar
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • ½ tsp of chopped fresh basil leaves
  • ½ tsp of lemon juice and honey

Methods of Preparing Step by Step:

Take a medium-sized mixing bowl and add lemon juice, vinegar, chopped basil leaves, and chili flakes. Then mix the ingredients by stirring for a couple of minutes to prepare a spicy seasoning. Then add in the paprika, salt, and pepper to bring a savory taste in the seasoning and mix properly.

Take the lamb breast pieces and wash them properly to peel off any unwanted skins on the meat. Then dry the meat pieces with a paper towel and then place them on a mixing pan. Marinate these lamb meats with the prepared spicy seasoning.

Pour over the vinegar and oil on the meats to get an oily any savory outer crust. Then sprinkle coriander and cumin on the meat pieces to enhance the savory flavor. Give a perfect hand mix on the lamb meats so that all the marinated seasonings get perfectly coated on the meats.

Then put the meats on a greased baking pan and cover the pan with aluminum foil. Then place it in a preheated oven under 350-degrees for 1 hour. Then take out the meat when it gets brownish and tender texture.

Finally, place the breast dish on a serving plate and sprinkle lemon juice on top. Then the lamb roast recipe is ready to be served.

Roast Lamb

We get it&mdash roasted lamb may not be your typical weeknight meal or go-to roast for special occasions. But this roast lamb recipe is just as easy as preparing and roasting a turkey (which you do every year!) or serving up your favorite roast chicken. Plus, lamb&rsquos robust flavor and tender, juicy texture that just can&rsquot be beat. Beef is great, but it won&rsquot shock and awe at your next dinner party the way an impressive (yet easy!) roasted lamb will.

In this recipe, lamb top round (a tender, relatively quick-cooking part of the leg) gets rubbed down with garlic, rosemary, and thyme, then roasted alongside sweet grape tomatoes. The tomatoes break down during cooking and create a kind of saucy side, which begs to be served with any kind of potato recipe to soak up all those juices. It makes a stunning Easter dinner that&rsquos a nice break from year after year of ham, or a perfect, cozy Sunday dinner idea.

lamb top round (1 1/4- to 1 1/2- lbs), trimmed

cloves garlic (4 cloves chopped)

Chopped parsley, for sprinkling

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Season lamb with 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper and place in roasting pan.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chopped garlic, rosemary, thyme and 1 tablespoon oil. Rub over lamb and roast 10 minutes.
  3. Toss tomatoes and garlic cloves with remaining tablespoon oil and ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper. Scatter tomatoes and garlic around lamb and roast until internal temperature of lamb registers 125°F for medium-rare, 15 to 20 minutes more. Transfer lamb to cutting board and let rest at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with tomatoes and garlic and sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/gas 5. Parboil the potatoes in lightly salted water for 2-3 mins. Drain well.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the lamb steaks over a high heat for 1-2 mins on each side until browned. Transfer to a shallow ovenproof dish.

Add the onion and garlic to the pan and fry for 5 mins. Stir in the stock and Worcestershire sauce and bring to the boil. Pour over the lamb steaks and add the potatoes. Sprinkle with dried herbs, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and cook for 30 mins.

Add the cherry tomatoes and return to the oven for a further 10-15 mins. Served garnished with fresh oregano or thyme leaves.
